The PADI Open Water Diver certification is globally recognized, equipping you with the knowledge, training, and skills to plan and conduct dives confidently.
Classes are limited to just 4 students per session, ensuring personalized attention and effective learning. Our minimum age requirement for group classes is 14, while divers aged 10 - 13 may earn their PADI Jr. Open Water Diver certification through private scheduling for optimal learning and safety.
To get started, simply visit Carmel Bay Divers to complete registration forms and sign up for a class schedule. We’ll guide you through necessary paperwork like a "Liability Release" and a "Medical History" statement to ensure you’re ready for scuba diving. Comfortable swimming ability is also required.
As part of your learning experience, you’ll schedule a personal Equipment Orientation Session with our PADI Professional Scuba Instructor. We assist you in selecting the right gear for your needs, ensuring proper fit and type for your dives. Plus, the use of the Scuba Life-Support Package is included in your course fee.
