Structural Integration (SI):
Structural Integration (SI) is different from other therapies because it involves active participation from the client. For example, while working on the myofascia of your leg, you might be asked to slowly raise and lower your foot. This movement retrains your inner kinesthetic sense, helping to create new habits of movement that lead to a more integrated body. After a session, you might notice that your body feels different—like the way weight lands on your foot. Over time, maintaining this new awareness can result in lasting improvements.
What We Do:
We work together to help you find grace in gravity. Each person has unique imbalances and structural issues in our relationship with gravity—like a higher hip, a lower shoulder, or difficulty turning the head in one direction. These imbalances come from both our habits and the DNA we inherit. Our approach considers these factors holistically, aiming for lasting change. As a client, your role extends beyond the sessions; it’s about maintaining the changes we achieve together in your everyday life.
